September:           Weekend TV Presenting Workshop (“Be Yourself”)

 This course is delivered over 24 hours (2x12hour day) within a two-day period. It is an intense workshop that guides potential TV Presenters through the process of working on a realistic Production set and preparing them for a career in Presenting.

 The course philosophy is “Be Yourself”, and it will give students an insight into the various techniques required to be effective in transferring their true personality across to the viewers.

 September:           1 day Camera Operating Workshop

 

This one-day course offers students the skills required to operate effectively a Professional camera.

 Each student who takes part in this course will acquire knowledge in the following areas:

 ·         White Balancing

·         Aperture

·         Focusing

·         Shot composition

·         Pan, tilt, track, zoom

·         Colour Grading

·         Working with Dolly

·         Working with Crane Shots

·         Wiring for sound

 Participants, who complete this one-day training, will have an in-depth overview of the functions of a Professional Video Camera.

 Limited to:           12 places

October             2 day Acting to Camera Techniques

 This course is delivered over 24 hours within a two-day period and will give students an in-depth look at various acting methods and how to incorporate those methods into working with camera.

 Each student will gain the following skills during the Workshop

 

·         Characterisation

·         Working with Text

·         Physicality of an actor

·         Voice Coaching

·         Improvisation

·         Technical awareness of equipment

·         The “Not Acting is Acting” Principals

·         Dialogue Coaching 

 Limited to:           18 places
