About the Media Learning Centre and Staff members

 Students who complete Media Learning Centre courses have stronger possibilities of obtaining work within the Industry as most of the trainers are owners of independent production companies and also with the strong links the MLC have with the new emerging FCTV, there are endless possibilities of employment. Success within the audio visual Industry is based on the individual’s determination and skills progression.

We make every effort to stay in contact with students after their time at MLC. We are here to offer support and guidance to our past students throughout their careers.

We believe in developing film and video-makers, who can collaborate creatively as they develop a high level of competence in specialist areas like writing, producing, cinematography, directing, production design editing and sound. With purpose built studios and professional video and sound facilities, we offer an ideal environment to prepare for professional life.

The Media Learning Centre (MLC) courses feature extensive practical skills training together with a high standard of scholastic distinction. Our tutors are all television Industry practitioners’ who work both in production and broadcast.
